Do you ever take time to reflect on your past? I have been reflecting a lot lately. I realized that It is exactly 3 years ago that I started MariaJohanna.com. OMG! So many things happened. I‘ve been taking the action from my heart and life gave me an amazing adventure. It’s amazing to jump into the unknown and trust that life will take care of you. Open your arms and receive, experience and enjoy your path.
This week I organized Ayahuasca ceremonies in Grolloo, Drenthe. The ceremonies took place under the guidance of an experienced Shaman. It was a very special experience, also because our accommodation was completely surrounded by nature. Besides Ayahuasca we offered attendees treatments with several other ancient medicines from the Amazon, like Rapé and Tabacco.
This week I went to Lisbon with my true and amazing friends Sharon and Marie-Louise. It was a special trip. We did some sightseeing and shopping. Lisbon is a very gentle city with great cafes, shops and very nice buildings. And we realized that if something really belongs to you, it will come to you. In a way that you cannot imagine.
The Ayahuasca Ceremonies in Peru with the Shamans changed my life! I’m now analyzing all that I’ve experienced and also looking ahead. What road do I want to take with the Ceremonies I’m going to organize in the future? My goal is to remind people that they have to write their own script for their life. You can do that by jumping into uncertainty. Go into the unknown and your adventure will begin. This will make you feel alive!
In the next days on Ibiza we were preparing for the coming Ayahuasca Ceremonies. The Ceremonies started in the evening, under the guidance of a very experienced shaman. In the first Ceremony I had an amazing encounter with a North American Indian and it became clear to me that this was me in a past life. The next day we had our second Ceremony. My intention was to open my heart and set myself more free. Ayahuasca was teaching me about animals. In the last days of my journey I had only joy. I felt like the most happy woman on this planet. I was falling in love with life.
In my second week on Ibiza I had so much fun! We were in the villa with 4 girls and had an amazing time. We talked a lot about being truly yourself and how this will give you so much energy and joy. Just feel and act on your feelings. Life will show you your path. Everything will be taken care of.
After my amazing journey to Peru, I was back home in Amsterdam for just a few days to leave again for Ibiza! For me Ibiza is a magical place and it’s my favorite spot to organize and do my retreats. We had workshops, had a singing bowl healing session and every morning we started with an amazing yoga class of Fraukje Jasmine. It was again a beautiful experience!
On day 3 of our retreat in Peru we had a Rapé session. Rapé is another very special plant medicine that connects you straight to the source. I was not participating in the Ayahuasca Ceremony, but I was guiding and helping the participants. We had such a wonderful time in Peru. The Pachamama Temple is by far the best place I know to do Ayahuasca Ceremonies.
On day 2 of our Ayahuasca retreat in Peru at Pachamama Temple we started with a Tobacco ceremony to clean the body also on an energetic level. You drink a small cup of tea made of the tobacco plant. Immediately after that you drink as much lukewarm water and you will feel that you have to vomit. After the ceremony there’s so much inner piece at a level I can’t explain. Very beautiful.
The first day in Peru we had the honor to create our own Ayahuasca for our ceremonies. Ayahuasca is made out of two plants, the Vine and the Chakruna that contains DMT. The combination of the plants will open a gateway to make a deep inner journey through the subconscious mind. When the Ceremony started I was first in resistance. Later on I went into my inner journey and my big message was that I had to enjoy life on a higher level.
